A big thanks to the Manitoba Restaurant & Foodservices Association and Gordon Food Service for following through so quickly on their promise to donate 22 cases of coffee to Main Street Project. The coffee, with a wholesale value of $1,000, was dropped off this week at 75 Martha Street. That’s also where you can deliver coffee or anything else to help Winnipeg’s homeless. And Rob Young at Writers & Rockers Coffee who got this whole coffee drive going with his generous donation of 50 pounds tells me his java has arrived at MSP as well. Rob says that works out to 2,097 cups of coffee or about a week’s worth for us writers, LOL!
