A big thanks to the Manitoba Restaurant & Foodservices Association and Gordon Food Service for following through so quickly on their promise to donate 22 cases of coffee to Main Street Project. The coffee, with a wholesale value of $1,000, was dropped off this week at 75 Martha Street. That’s also where you can deliver coffee or anything else to help Winnipeg’s homeless. I had a great week! On Wednesday, I briefly mentioned on my radio show a need for coffee at Main Street Project. Local roaster Writers & Rockers Coffee contacted me to say they were donating 50 pounds of their Coffee With The Queen blend, inspired by The Pumps and Orphan.
